A bird in the hand...

is better than one loose in your nest.

Every now and then a little wren shows up in our house.

We have no idea where she comes from, or if it's always the same one.

Right now she is hiding out under my bed.

My little niece is trying to lure her with a decoy,

but to no avail.

I feel sure she's a little girl wren.

She loves vintage jewelry.
